Sunday February 25, 2024 I love this picture!!!  Our Todd, Meggan and Jayden were with us here in Tela Honduras.  I still can hardly believe they were here with us.  We had such a great time being together, it was so fun to be together laughing, talking and experiencing a bit of Honduras.  On Monday we spent the day here around Tela.  We went out to visit Doris and her family.. Then we went to a tourist place and they got some things to take back home with them, then we went out to the beach.  It was cloudy and very cool for Tela weather.  Everytime we got in the car I turned off the AC, and Meggan was always wanting it turned up,  I was cool but everyone else was hot.  It is going to be an adjustment going back to Utah, but the good part is that we will get home in July when it will be hot so I will have the summer then the fall to cool down and adjust.  In a way I have enjoyed the year and a half of summer, but I really do miss ...

Sunday February 18, 2024 We have had such an awesome week, mostly because Todd, Jayden, and Meggan came here this past Friday.  We picked them up at the airport on Friday, then we drove down to Copán which are some ancient mayan ruins.  It was a long drive but we had so much fun being together again.  Todd made reservations for dinner where we had a great dinner together, it was late, around 8:30 so it was dark, but it was such a pretty place. We had a typical Honduran style dinner, which was prepared very nicely, then we went over to the hotel which was more in the center of the town, which was called Copán.  Here we are in the hotel room after a very long day of travels for all of us but especially for Todd, Jayden and Meggan.   The room had air conditioning, hot water and was very comfortable.  We all slept very well that night but because we had a big day planned on Saturday we got up early.  Todd and Jayden got up at 6:30 and went to th...

Sunday February 11, 2024 We had such a great week with these three friends from Provo.  They all work at the surgical center in Provo with Colleen and they took a week off work to come here to see Honduras and to see us, to participate for a week in what our world is like here.  It was really good for Colleen to have conversations, with friends about familiar experiences.  They have a lot in common,  so it was very therapeutic for Colleen to be able to talk for a whole week with English speaking friends.  I think that has been the most difficult thing for Colleen about being here is the lack of conversations.  We went to Roatán, saw the monkeys and sloths, then when we got back here, we had to be missionaries again and so we went back out to La Ceiba for a multi zone conference.  They had to give rabies shots to the new missionaries who have recently arrived, there were 5 of them out there to that conference.  It would be really great if the...
